Hickory-Pecan Rustic Botanical Name: Carya spp.	Wood flooring is a natural product. Some variation in color and grain pattern will occur between samples, photographs and any specific installation.

Hickory-Pecan Rustic is a well-known American hardwood very well suited to flooring because of its hardness and natural warmth. It is the perfect choice for an informal or rustic setting. Color and Photosensitivity: Hickory-Pecan exhibits a calico appearance with its contrast between reddish brown heartwood and creamy white sapwood and scattered knots. It will darken slightly with exposure to light. Janka Hardness Rating: 1,820 lbs. (826 kg.) By comparison, Northern Red Oak's value is 1,290 lbs. (585 kg.)
